User guide

Practical guide for everyday use — no developer jargon. Windows 10/11 autoclicker with human-like motion, screen recognition, macros, and hotkeys.

What NexusClicker is

NexusClicker automates mouse and keyboard on Windows 10/11. Moves can follow human-like curves, and you can wait for a color, image, or text on screen before clicking. Input uses the normal Windows input API — no process injection and no admin rights for normal use.

Important: Human-like motion is not an anti-cheat bypass. Automating software against its rules (including many games) can get accounts banned. Use only where automation is allowed.

Quick start (4 steps)

  1. Open Click config. Choose mouse button (Left), click type (Single), and Interval (e.g. 250 ms). Set Repeat to Infinite or a fixed Count.
  2. Choose the target. Easiest: At cursor. Or Absolute + Pick to choose a screen point.
  3. Arm if needed. If “Require arming” is on, press ARM on the Dashboard first.
  4. Start / stop. Press START or F6. Stop with STOP, F6 again, or panic F8. Moving the real mouse triggers Failsafe and stops the run.
Tip: Hotkeys work while the window is minimized. Use the floating Mini panel from the Dashboard to control the app without switching windows.

Main screens

1 · Dashboard

Start/stop, arming, live stats, mini panel.

2 · Click config

What to click: button, type, target, interval, repeat.

3 · Human-like

How “human” motion and timing feel.

4 · Detection

Click only when color / image / text matches.

5 · Macros

Record and play sequences with logic.

6 · Profiles

Saved setups, window binding, import/export.

7 · Settings

Theme, safety, hotkeys, gestures, tray.

8 · Logs

Event log and exports.

Keyboard: 19 jump screens, [/] previous/next, ? shortcuts help. Global F6/F8 work system-wide.

Click settings

Action

  • Mouse button — Left, Right, Middle, side buttons.
  • Click type — Single, Double, Triple, Hold, Scroll, or Key (keystroke + optional Ctrl/Shift/Alt/Win to the focused window).
  • Background click — send a click to a bound window without focusing it (not for Key; many games ignore this).

Where to click

  • At cursor — current pointer position.
  • Absolute — fixed screen point (Pick crosshair).
  • Relative — point inside a bound window (moves with the window).
  • Multi-point — several points in order (sequential, reverse, random, ping-pong).

Human-like motion

Turn Human-like on to avoid perfectly robotic timing. Main knobs:

  • Move cursor — actually travel to the target (off = click in place).
  • Duration / curvature / jitter — how the path looks.
  • Click scatter — small random offset at the click point.
  • Interval variation — random delays, rare long pauses, micro-hesitations.
  • Fatigue — gradually slower over long sessions.

Use the on-screen path preview while you tune values.

Screen detection

Enable Detection to wait for something on screen before acting.

  • Color — target color + tolerance.
  • Image — PNG template (file, capture, or drag-and-drop).
  • Text (OCR) — find a phrase (needs a Windows language pack).
  • AND / OR / NOT — combine conditions.
Trigger modes (common confusion):
  • Wait & click — when the condition is true, click your fixed Click config target.
  • Click match — click the found object itself (button/text location).
  • While true — keep clicking while the condition stays true.
If it “always clicks the same pixel even when text moves”, you probably need Click match, not Wait & click.
After changing Detection, Stop then Start again — the engine snapshots the job at start. Use Test now and a tight search region for reliability.

Profiles

A profile is a full setup (click + human-like + detection + hotkeys). Create as many as you need. Bind a profile to a window/process so the right setup activates when that app is focused (optional auto-switch in Settings).

Export/import as a file or QR image for backup and sharing between your machines.

Macros

Record real mouse and keyboard actions, then replay them. You can:

  • Scale speed and loop count
  • Humanize replay (smoother paths + timing noise)
  • Add logic: Repeat, Wait for detection, If/Else, Call another macro
  • Use integer variables and simple formulas
  • Edit in List view or Flow (block) view

Macros are stored inside the active profile. For very advanced logic, the Scripts screen offers a sandboxed script editor.

Hotkeys & safety

  • F6 — start/stop (default; rebindable)
  • F8 — panic stop
  • Hold mode — run only while the hotkey is held
  • Optional mouse gestures for start/stop/profile switch
  • Failsafe — stop if you move the real mouse
  • Arm / confirm infinite / start delay — prevent accidents

Tray options: minimize or close to tray, start minimized. Config lives under your Windows app data folder.

Ready recipes

Idle / clicker game

Left · Single · At cursor or Absolute · Interval 60–120 ms · Infinite · Human-like “Light” · Failsafe on.

Click a button when it appears

Detection → Image or Text · region around the button · Trigger Click match · Human-like Realistic · after edits: Stop → Start.

Wait for “Ready”, then click a fixed point

Detection Text/Color · Trigger Wait & click · Absolute target via Pick.

Press a game key on a cooldown

Click type Key · set the key · game window focused · Interval matches cooldown · some variation in human-like timing.

Several points in a loop

Multi-point targets · sequential or random order · Human-like with Move cursor on.

Troubleshooting

Nothing clicks

Check arming, Detection waiting forever, Failsafe (did you move the mouse?), and try F6. If Detection never matches, logs may warn after many failed checks.

Always clicks the same point with text detection

Switch trigger to Click match if you want to hit the found text. Stop → Start after changes.

Pick / Select on screen disabled

These work inside the installed app, not in a plain browser preview. For Detection, enable Detection and don’t force “follow window” if you need a manual region.

Background click fails in a game

Many games ignore background posts. Focus the window and use normal clicking.

Keys don’t reach an elevated game

Focus the target. If the game runs as admin, Windows may block input unless NexusClicker also runs as admin.

High RAM

Expected with the modern UI shell. The Dashboard shows the live figure.
